Father’s Day 2027 is Sunday, June 20. The Chattanooga Market’s Father’s Day Blues & Brews is the city’s standing Father’s Day event: live blues, food trucks, craft beer and handmade gifts at First Horizon Pavilion, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., free admission. In 2026 it was held on Father’s Day, June 21. Nothing had been announced for 2027 by Oct. 18, 2026; we will add dates as organizers publish them.

Father’s Day Blues & Brews

The Chattanooga Market pitches it as “a Sunday well spent”: lunch from food trucks, a cold craft beer and live local blues through the day, plus dozens of artists selling handmade gifts and farm vendors selling fresh cuts of meat, cheeses and produce for dinner. The 2026 edition, on June 21, featured Adam Stone’s quartet.

• Cost: admission is free; pay-lot parking on the campus
• Dogs: not allowed indoors, but the market points to the adjacent dog park and outdoor areas

Outings with Dad

Ride a vintage train. The Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum, 4119 Cromwell Road, runs its Missionary Ridge Local year-round: vintage passenger cars through the pre-Civil War Missionary Ridge Tunnel, a working turntable demonstration and a tour of the restoration shop, in about 65 minutes, for all ages (train rides). The museum is raising money for a new finishing facility and the preservation of Southern Railway No. 4501, the steam locomotive in the photo above.

A Lookouts game. The Chattanooga Lookouts moved to Erlanger Park, their new downtown ballpark, in 2026. That season’s Family Sunday Funday promotion ended Sunday home games with kids running the bases and catch on the field, and Fridays had fireworks (2026 promotions). The team was on the road on Father’s Day 2026; the 2027 schedule will show whether it is home on June 20.

Father’s Day is not a public holiday; trash pickup and city services do not change. Chattanooga Public Library branches are closed on Sundays (library hours). Hamilton County Schools are on summer break.
