Little Coyote keeps its Bib Gourmand and newcomer 2nd joins Easy Bistro, Main Street Meats and The Rosecomb in the 2026 Michelin Guide American South.
Five Chattanooga restaurants are in the 2026 Michelin Guide American South, one more than last year. The guide’s inspectors named the second annual selection Wednesday night at a ceremony in Nashville.
The new name on the Chattanooga list is 2nd, at 1601 Cowart St. on the Southside. The other four were all in the first edition last year.
No Chattanooga restaurant received a Michelin Star. Three restaurants in the region earned their first star this year: Dakar NOLA in New Orleans, So. Fox in Atlanta and Uberto Restaurant in Gay, Georgia.
The full selection was published in Michelin’s announcement, which Chattanooga Tourism Co. posted in full.
The Chattanooga list
| Restaurant | Address | 2026 distinction |
|---|---|---|
| Little Coyote | 3950 Tennessee Ave. | Bib Gourmand |
| 2nd (new this year) | 1601 Cowart St. | Recommended |
| Easy Bistro & Bar | 801 Chestnut St. | Recommended |
| Main Street Meats | 217 E. Main St. | Recommended |
| The Rosecomb | 921 Barton Ave. | Recommended |
Michelin’s Bib Gourmand recognizes restaurants for “great food at a great value,” the announcement said. Recommended restaurants are endorsed by the inspectors and listed in the guide.
Little Coyote, Easy Bistro & Bar, Main Street Meats and The Rosecomb made the inaugural 2025 list, Chattanooga Tourism Co. said last November. Little Coyote was the city’s Bib Gourmand then too. At the time, the tourism agency said Erik and Amanda Niel owned Little Coyote, Easy Bistro and Main Street Meats.
How Chattanooga compares in Tennessee
The 2026 guide covers 265 restaurants across Alabama, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee.

- Sewanee: 2, about 40 miles west, at Judith and Lunch
- Maryville: 2
Across the whole region, the guide now lists:

- 59 Bib Gourmands, 14 of them new
- 184 Recommended restaurants, 31 of them new
