Valentine’s Day 2027 is Sunday, Feb. 14. No Chattanooga venue had posted 2027 Valentine’s plans by Oct. 18, 2026. The events below are what ran in 2026, with the 2026 dates; most come back every year, and we will add the 2027 dates here as each venue publishes them. We do not guess dates.

Romance at Ruby. Ruby Falls calls it “a date night adventure”: an after-hours lantern tour for two through the cave to the underground waterfall, a professional photo and a gift, with stories of local romances including Leo Lambert and his wife, Ruby, for whom the falls are named. Tours are by advance reservation only, and Ruby Falls says tickets sell quickly. Romance at Ruby.

Valentine’s Dinner Train. The Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum serves a four-course Valentine’s dinner in restored vintage dining cars on a ride that starts and ends at Grand Junction Depot. Lookout for Love at Rock City. Rock City, on Lookout Mountain, Georgia, sold a couples package in 2026 with two admissions, sparkling wine or cider from Cafe 7, Rock City fudge and a souvenir photo, for a winter walk through the gardens to Lover’s Leap.

Tennessee Aquarium Nightlife. The aquarium’s 21-and-older night in 2026 was themed “It’s a Love Story,” with themed drinks, bites and talks from the education team on the “love language” of the animals, after hours in the River Journey building.

Valentine’s dinners (2026)

  • Frothy Monkey served three-course “Frothy Love” dinners for two on Feb. 13 and 14, 2026, from 5 p.m., at its Chattanooga cafe among others; reservations opened Jan. 22. Frothy Love dinners.
  • Bridgeman’s Chophouse at the Read House Hotel ran a chef’s Valentine’s menu Feb. 13-15, 2026, alongside its regular menu (2026 listing).
  • Rodizio Grill Hamilton Place ran a Valentine’s brunch and dinner on Feb. 13, 2026 (2026 listing).

  • Candlelight: Valentine’s Day Special, a candlelit concert at First Cumberland Presbyterian Church, Friday, Feb. 13, 6:30 p.m. (2026 listing).
  • Valentine’s Day card-making demo with artist Mary Lynn Portera at River Gallery, Saturday, Feb. 14, 1 to 3 p.m., free and open to the public (2026 listing).
  • Valentine’s Salsa Mixer at G2G Salsa, Feb. 14, with a beginner bachata class for couples at 7 p.m. and a dance social from 8 to 11 p.m. (2026 listing).
  • Valentine’s Date Night Workshop, a candlelit floral arranging class at Joli Jardin, Feb. 14, 6 to 8 p.m. (2026 listing).

Free ideas for two
