Admission and attendance zone

Normal Park has a small attendance zone. Check an address in the School Zone Finder or the county’s school zone lookup map. Comparing the district’s 2026-27 zone maps with Census Bureau city limits, the zone lies inside Chattanooga city limits, and its middle school zone sits inside the Red Bank High zone.

Families outside the zone apply through School Choice. The district’s School Choice page says kindergarten and sixth-grade admission to Normal Park is by a balanced lottery, “a district-wide lottery with seats proportionally allocated by school board district.” The district says the School Choice application period runs each year from Nov. 16 through Jan. 29; seats are filled first from applications received in that window, and a lottery decides when there are more applicants than seats, followed by a waitlist.

We found no rezoning approved by the Hamilton County Board of Education that changes this school’s zone for 2026-27.
