Admission and attendance zone

Chattanooga Prep has no attendance zone. Its admissions page says any boy living in Hamilton County who is eligible for sixth through 10th grade may apply; applications go through SchoolMint, and a complete application with supporting documents filed in the priority period secures a place in line. The page says the school holds a lottery on Jan. 15 if it receives more complete applications than open seats, with a waitlist after that.

Hamilton County Schools’ charter schools page says families apply directly with the school and that charter seats are not open to families from outside the county unless there is no waitlist in that grade.
